St. Gwrfael, Bishop of Gloucester
(Born c.AD 395)
(Latin: Vormaglus; English: Worbald)

Unfortunately, like his father St. Cadfrod, 'Bishop of Caerleon', Gwrfael's existence is in extreme doubt. He only appears in the works of the unreliable Iolo Morganwg, where he is said to have been the Bishop of Caer-Gloyw (Gloucester).

Cadfrod only appears in the 18th century manuscripts of Iolo Morganwg. He is generally considered fictional.
