Morcant, King of Bryneich

(Welsh: Morgan; Latin: Morganus; English: Morgan)
Morcant was the last British King of
Bryneich. He inherited the much reduced lands of his father, Coledauc,
in the mid-7th century, but probably ruled mostly in name only. He and any
remaining members of his dynasty were probably defeated in battle by Edwin
of Deira.
