Lady Mugain of Caer Goch

(Latin: Muganna; English: Margrain)

Princess Mugain was the daughter of Prince Conchrad of Connaught, who can be identified with Cynyr Ceinfarfog, Lord of Caer Goch (in Dyfed). She was the High-Queen of Ireland, being wife to King Diarmait Derg who died in 565.

Records of Mugain date back to the 11th century. She is generally considered legendary.
